KidzSize are the exclusive delivery partner of the FUNdamentals programme across Bedfordshire. Developed by British Gymnastics, the 'FUNdamental Movement Ideas for Early Years' scheme has been designed to help young people enjoy physical exercise.
The emphasis is on 'FUN', and the 'Funky Cat' character and his family introduces a wide range of physical activities based around 16 different themes. Designed for children from walking to 6 years, the activities will help children to learn basic movement skills with the experience of managing their bodies, and incorporates the pleasure of moving and listening to music.

When do the ‘FUNdamentals’ Holiday Workshops run?
We offer FUNdamentals Workshops in conjunction with our popular Multi Activity Holiday Clubs in the Easter and Summer Holidays.

Tell me more about the ‘FUNdamentals’ Holiday Workshop programme?
The programme consists of a sixteen creative and imaginative themes, where children investigate the world ‘Funky Cat’ and his family. Activities are set up where children discover different movement ideas and sequences through guided discover from the instructor.
Children move around activity stations freely, discovering and developing their core movements in a fun and inclusive way. Children receive attendance certificates for taking part.
Who will look after the young people during the FUNdamentals Holiday Workshops?
KidzSize Multi Sports Clubs aims to ensure all the young people attending our programmes have the best experience possible. Specialist instructors will deliver the activities sessions, who have had specialist FUNdamemtal training from the British Gymnastics and are experienced and competent working with this age group.
We do not currently operate any FUNdamental Gymnastic Movements Holiday Camps
